Everyone recognizes the rules of logic, even Aristotle. But, that is not the question is it?
Where do YOU THINK the rules of logic come from in a chance, meaningless universe?
im not an atheist, makes no mathematical sense, nor does the buy(more) bull(shit) god make any logical sense... maybe a deist on my best day, in the end you cannot get something from nothing, paradox if you ask me... but in reality i just dont care.
while in, and moving out of the cult, its like a roller coaster, emotionally, yet, for me, over time, i just take it one day at a time, and if appeasing some special deity is required, well i guess i failed.
lol.

in answer to why i think jehovahs witnesses are on the decline which is denied by some......... and highlighting bigger emerging issues of our humanity under threat.. firstly i think this faith is on the decline partly because adherents who claim to have a strong faith i believe, is actually tenuous, extremely fragile and porous far from watertight.. most jw's are hanging on because the alternative is more frightening.. the new reality dictates that there is a real depopulation agenda set by the elites to destroy and control humanity.. covid, the vaccines and lockdowns brought this reality home in a tangible way.
the climate change narrative, the talk about 15 minute cities, digital currency, alien sighting, food supply control, weather control, health control and natural resource control all point to wef, un and who agendas that can't be dismissed as conspiracy theories any more.. the actual scene of the world is really changing in a dramatic way.. the push for trans-humanism is not fiction.
the covid 19 vaccine is evidence of biowarfare and that through the mrna technology they are bent on changing our very dna.
No doubt that people who are paying attention are starting to get squeezed psychologically and emotionally by evil of many different kinds.
For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. - Jesus
It will get worse.... much worse.

The ultimate non-sequitur is: why anyone would rely on rules of logic to determine truth in a chance universe?
Christianity can account for the rules of logic. Where do you think they came from?

Christianity in of itself is a logical fallacy.
If Christianity wasn’t true, you would have no logic at all, much less the ability to spot a fallacy.
Here's mine:
'they turn the story around to make it seem like you are at fault, deflecting attention and blame away from them to make you feel guilty.
this type of emotional manipulation is called gaslighting.. .
deflection is manipulation, and if it's coupled with other toxic relationship behaviors, it may be necessary to remove yourself from the situation.'.
Wow, look at the age of the guy in that picture! He must be 90+. He is sad that God hasn't killed all the non-JWs yet and restored his youth. What an advertising campaign!
Most churches feature young families, children and a hopeful future when embracing the teachings of Jesus.

from this it is clearly seen that the editor and publisher of zion’s watch tower disavowed any claim to being individually, in his person, that “faithful and wise servant.” he never did claim to be such,” (“god’s kingdom of a thousand years has approached,” 1973, p. 346).. this contradicts watchtower december 1, 1919, p. 357 where the watchtower states russell did in fact claim to be the faithful and discreet slave.

This got posted when I reached my limit and posted a couple times trying to figure out why it wasn't posting. First post here.
I agree Anony Mouse. He was a master at false humility. He also encouraged people to leave their estates to him when they died. It is well known that he had multiple shell corporations that he used to hide income and avoid paying alimony to his wife.... all the while claiming he only drew a salary of $11 a month.
In Christian circles, there is a saying: "If you want to know if you are a good Christian, Ask your wife." (or spouse). Well, she couldn't live with him. He was a supreme grifter who believed his own BS.... a narcissistic nut case with a Messiah complex.
Note: The WT reference in the OP where they state he presented himself in private as prophesied in scripture as THE One and Only F&DS is : Dec. 1, 1916 pg. 357 (not 1919)

Mr. Ellis, an investigative reporter who looked into Russell and his movement says this:
"The acceptance of Russell as 'that servant' was made a test of fellowship among his followers, we are told, by the written statement of some who had been of that number, but who subsequently joined the large procession that is steadily falling away from 'Pastor' Russell.
This fact gives point to such statements as the following from a 'souvenir' of one of Russell's convention trips, in- dorsed by a fac-simile of his signature: 'If any oppose the Lord by opposing the Channel (i. e., The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society) and the Servant (i. e., Russell) the Lord has delegated to do his work, to that extent he loses the favor, the Spirit of the Lord; light becomes darkness, and he is soon outside.' This same volume reports addresses, showing supposed Bible prefigurations and prophecies of Russell that are shocking to Christian nonbelievers in Russellism." All About Russell, Cook pg. 13

Recognizing Russell as someone who inherited all of Christs belongings to give everyone their food at the proper time was an early test of fellowship according to investigative reporter Mr. Ellis :

@Person,
And according to the investigative reporter Mr. Ellis who was a contemporary of Russell, acknowledging Russell as named in scripture as the global leader of Christianity was a "test of fellowship". That is very significant.
After that, the F&DS was said to be the 144K which included the Governing Body.
Most recently, the F&DS is said to be ONLY the Governing Body.
F&DS Identity: Russell > Organization > 144K > Only 8 Men (GB)
